Tip #2. Co-Registration Programs
Most autoresponder companies already have co-registration opt-in features. The cost would be anywhere from 30 US Cents to 1 Dollar depending on the kind of demograhics.
Tip #3. Join Co-Registration Programs Yourself
If you already have co-reg partners, do sign up for thier newsletters and take a look at their co-registration pages. This gives you a chance to checkout other organizations that they have partnered with. These companies would be good prospects for your newsletter or service. They also already know what co-registration is about and it will prove to be valuable contacts.
Tip #4. My Competitors Database
Your immediate competitors might be your best prospects for co-registration partnership. This tends to work best when both newsletters are adding about the same number of subscribers each month. If your subscriber base are significantly different, the opportunity for a co-registration partnership is a little more difficult.
Tip #5. Associations & Event Planners
Associations and event planners are great lead generators for each other. Associations often have a free email newsletter that serves as a lead generator for their paid membership. Do partner with them.
Tip #6. Specialized Search Engines
Try sourcing for keywords at Miva or Google Adwords Tool to identify what kind of keywords have the most searches before approaching the relevant Co-Registration partners in that industry.
