Ever struggled with different ppc advertising campaigns like Google Adwords, MSN Adcenter or Overture with not much success. In reality most new affiliates rush in with ppc advertising and setup hundreds of generic keywords for the same product only to discover that the clicks do not convert into sales and they give up. Follow these tips that will help make your ppc advertising campaigns more successful and stop you from wasting your advertising money. Direct your prospect to a lead capture page. Most sales only occur on the 5th to 12th contact. Use good sales copy and split test different lead pages to see which converts best. A good squeeze page will convert 30% of its visitors.

You need to use more specific keywords and less general keywords. So for example bid on a specific model like 5070 pioneer plasma TV instead of pioneer plasma TV. If you promote products on Clickbank then stick to specific products like Adwords Killer. Similarly you can apply these principles to most affiliate programs that you promote. Consequently you will find that you get a lot less traffic, but more targeted and converts a lot more. So instead of promoting one product with a lot of keywords rather promote many products with a few highly targeted keyword lists.

Clickbank now offers the feature where you can add your tracking code. People who do not track their adverts usually waste 60% to 70% of their advertising spend. Certain keywords convert a lot better than others. When you setup your Adwords campaign you will not know this. So as you advertise you will see that certain keywords just do not convert very well. Get rid of these keywords and stick to the more profitable keywords.

Follow these tips here and improve the success of your ppc advertising campaigns. You will find that you get less traffic, but your super targeted traffic will convert at a much higher percentage sometimes up to 20%.
